عالمی یومِ عربی زبان: ڈاکٹر نقویٰ پرویز احمد العمری المدنی کو خصوصی اعزاز
کالی کٹ (کیرالا) میں عالمی یومِ عربی زبان کے موقع پر مجمع اللغۃ العربیۃ فی الہند (نیشنل ایسوسی ایشن فار عربک لینگویج) کے زیرِ اہتمام 27 دسمبر 2025 کو ایم ایس ایس آڈیٹوریم میں ایک باوقار علمی تقریب منعقد ہوئی، جس کا مقصد عربی زبان کے فروغ اور قومی سطح پر نمایاں خدمات انجام دینے والی شخصیات کی حوصلہ افزائی تھا۔
اس تقریب کی نمایاں جھلک ڈاکٹر نقویٰ پرویز احمد العمری المدنی کو عربی زبان کی خدمت، تدریس، تحقیق اور نئی نسل کو عربی زبان سے جوڑنے میں ان کی مسلسل اور مؤثر خدمات کے اعتراف میں خصوصی قومی اعزاز سے نوازا جانا تھا۔ مقررین نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ ڈاکٹر صاحب کی علمی کاوشوں نے ہندوستان میں عربی زبان کے فروغ میں نمایاں کردار ادا کیا ہے۔
اپنے اختتامی خطاب میں ڈاکٹر نقویٰ پرویز احمد العمری المدنی نے عربی زبان کی عالمگیریت، وسعت اور امتِ مسلمہ کے اتحاد میں اس کے کلیدی کردار پر روشنی ڈالی اور عربی زبان کی مؤثر خدمت کے لیے عملی رہنمائی پیش کی۔ انہوں نے اس اعزاز پر منتظمین کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے عربی زبان کی تعلیمی و تحقیقی خدمت کے لیے ہر ممکن تعاون جاری رکھنے کے عزم کا اظہار کیا۔
تقریب میں اساتذہ، محققین، طلبہ اور عربی زبان سے وابستہ افراد کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی، اور اختتام دعا کے ساتھ ہوا۔

On the occasion of World Arabic Language Day, a grand, dignified, and scholarly ceremony was organized by the National Association for Arabic Language (Majma‘ al-Lughah al-‘Arabiyyah fi’l-Hind) on Saturday, 27 December 2025, at MSS Auditorium, Calicut.
The event aimed to promote the Arabic language, recognize outstanding scholarly contributions, and honor eminent personalities who have rendered valuable services at the national level in line with contemporary educational needs.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Mohammad Tayyib Sullami. This was followed by the presidential address of Professor Shaikh Muhammad, who shed comprehensive light on the religious, educational, and cultural significance of the Arabic language and emphasized the urgent need for its preservation and promotion. The ceremony was formally inaugurated by Dr. R. K. J. Prakash, Director, SCERT Kerala.
On this occasion, the Digital Arabic Textbook was officially released by Dr. A. K. Abdul Hakeem, while the national awards were presented by Dr. Muhammad Basheer, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calicut.
The event also highlighted the key objectives and future projects of the National Association for Arabic Language, which include:
- The development of modern software and digital applications for Arabic,
- The establishment of specialized centers for serving Arabic through artificial intelligence,
- The creation of linguistic corpora,
- The establishment of a central Arabic digital library,
- Teaching Arabic to non-native speakers,
- Conducting standardized language examinations,
- Publishing research and academic journals,
- Translating important scholarly works from other languages into Arabic,
- Presenting national awards,
- and organizing international conferences and academic seminars.
Speakers described these initiatives as a guarantee of a bright future for the Arabic language in India.
A particularly memorable highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of special honors to Dr. Nakwa Parvez Ahmed Al-Umari Al-Madani and Dr. Safiurrahman A, in recognition of their outstanding, consistent, and long-standing contributions to the promotion of the Arabic language. Speakers praised their teaching, research, and scholarly services, noting that their sincere efforts have played a significant role in connecting the younger generation with the Arabic language.
Distinguished scholars who addressed the gathering, including Dr. Jamaluddin Farooqi and other renowned speakers, spoke in depth about the contemporary demands of the Arabic language, its potential in the digital age, and various aspects of its promotion in India. The occasion also witnessed the launch of an Arabic blog and a presentation on the vision and mission of the National Association for Arabic Language.
In his concluding address, Dr. Nakwa Parvez Ahmed Al-Umari Al-Madani highlighted the universality, vastness, and pivotal role of the Arabic language in fostering the unity of the Muslim Ummah. He presented practical suggestions and a clear roadmap for its effective and meaningful service, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
During the same address, he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the office-bearers of the Association for conferring this honor upon him and for granting membership in curriculum-based programs involving students from more than six thousand educational and government institutions across the state. He conveyed his best wishes for the Association’s bright future and reaffirmed his commitment to continue offering every possible cooperation in achieving its academic and educational objectives.
He also individually thanked all members of the committee who worked tirelessly day and night on this project, appreciating their sincerity and dedicated academic and organizational efforts.
In particular, he acknowledged Shaikh Muhammad, President of the Association, Dr. Safiurrahman A, Head of the Syllabus Department, and Shaikh Noufal Madani, stating that the success and dignity of the ceremony were the result of their effective leadership, sincere efforts, and excellent coordination. He described them as the driving spirit of the event and paid tribute to their untiring service and organizational vision in the cause of the Arabic language.
A large number of teachers, researchers, students, and Arabic language enthusiasts attended the program. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to serving the Arabic language and with closing prayers.
